When was the last time you interacted with a cow in person? A fish? A wild forest? And when did you last see an image of one online? 

CAMWORLD is an ongoing visual essay project. In the website, which mimics the endless scrolls pervasive in contemporary digital reality, Hui and Rosenblatt trace the history of the webcam back to its inception and draw visual and conceptual parallels between animal livecams and human livestreams. The serendipitous juxtapositions of words and imagery revealed through user interaction suggest ideas of human/nonhuman fetishization, surveillance, and multiple realms of reality.
